With tremendous excitement, JTaylor announces the addition of Catherine Rude as a principal in the tax services division. Catherine is an attorney who spent the last twelve years at Brown PC, where she served as the Managing Director. She has extensive experience in complex tax controversy matters and brings a wealth of knowledge in dispute resolution and risk mitigation strategies.

“Catherine brings a unique set of skills that complements the talents of our team,” said Shannon Schumacher, the firm’s Director of Tax Services. “Many of us have worked with Catherine in the past, and we know what a remarkable resource she will be for our clients who may be navigating difficult circumstances.”

Catherine has a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from the University of Washington and a Master of Laws (MLL) in Taxation from the University of San Diego, and is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Tax Section. She also serves on the faculty of the Texas A&M School of Law Tax Dispute Resolution Clinic.
