JTaylor's Herd Midkiff was published in the June 2021 issue of the American Health Law Association's Health Law Connections. The article, "Price Transparency 2.0" addresses the Hospital Price Transparency Final Rule that went into effect on January 1, 2021. The rule requires hospitals to make public a "consumer-friendly" list of standard charges for 300 shoppable services. In addition to explaining the requirements of the law, the article provides insight regarding expected impacts of Price Transparency, as well as challenges related to compliance.
