Courtney was a founding member of JTaylor in 1999. She has over 25 years of experience in public accounting, the majority of which have been focused primarily on consulting and business advisory services. She has extensive knowledge of business enterprise valuations, incentive compensation plans, and damage assessments for a wide variety of enterprises. Additionally, she has assisted clients with strategic planning, including joint venturing, business acquisition, buy/sell agreements and due diligence services.
A Dean’s Scholar, Courtney graduated Cum Laude from TCU with a Bachelor of Business Administration. After working in a hospital business office and a Fort Worth CPA firm, Courtney spent three years at Ernst & Young, LLP as an auditor in the healthcare and insurance sectors. Prior to joining JTaylor, Courtney worked at McCaslin & Company, P.C., where she was a healthcare consultant.
A licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Texas, Courtney’s areas of practice include:
- Transaction support including business enterprise valuation and fair market value assessments
- Professional service agreement valuation, including call coverage, medical directorships, subsidies, and services arrangements
- Due diligence including financial and market projections
- Compensation plan development, implementation, monitoring, and commercial reasonability testing
- Damages assessment, claims dispute resolution and litigation support
- Accounting and financial statement special projects
